Biochemistry of Cancer

The overarching aim of CutCancer is to improve the scientific excellence and innovation capacity in the field of 3D in vitro cancer research at the National Institute of Biology, Slovenia, through access to state-of-the-art technologies. We have prepared a seminar for master students that attend a course of Biochemistry in Cancer.

We have prepared a seminar for master students that attend a course of Biochemistry in Cancer.

3D in vitro methodologies that are currently used in our research studies were presented. Furthermore we have presented novel 3D in vitro methodology that will be introduced to NIB through CutCancer project partners. Students learned about spatial methodologies that can significantly contribute to the in-depth understanding of cellular and molecular interactions in 3D tumour models prior and post treatments, leading to the understanding of tumour therapeutic resistance.
