The CutCancer project successfully held its 2nd Annual project meeting and 3rd General assembly meeting in an online format on 15 November 2024. The meetings focused on reviewing the progress made during the second year of the project, which started in January 2024, and planning future activities.

Key achievements highlighted during the annual meeting included the submission of two important deliverables and the completion of a major milestone. Discussions also covered external review recommendations, financial matters, and updates on research progress in carcinogenicity assessment, tumor microenvironment, and research capacity building. Future activities, including the final project conference scheduled for October 2025, were also discussed.

The General assembly meeting provided an opportunity for members to assess progress in training, knowledge transfer, research, dissemination, and exploitation activities. The meeting also addressed potential risks, intellectual property concerns, and any deviations from the original project plan. Participants reviewed these issues to ensure a seamless continuation of the project and to explore future opportunities for collaboration.

Both meetings were essential to ensure the smooth running of the CutCancer project as it enters its final phase.
