The Kemomind Science Conference brings together the brightest minds in biomedical and analytical sciences for a transformative experience. With a focus on cutting-edge technology and interdisciplinary collaboration, this event is designed to foster innovation and accelerate progress across multiple fields.

In the section “Pioneering the Future: Advancements in 3D Bioprinting, Spheroid Innovation, and Tumor Microenvironment Modeling,” Bernarda Majc presented a talk entitled “Patient-derived Glioblastoma Organoids as a Tool to Study DNA Damage Response,” which focused on glioblastoma (GB) and the use of patient-derived organoids (GBOs) that mimic the complexity of real tumors to evaluate standard treatments such as radiation and temozolomide. The presentation highlighted GBOs as a promising tool for understanding and potentially overcoming the resistance of GB to current treatments.
